What do you guys think about this? I think the gov has no right to tell people what app to use or not. It violates the principles of the free market. Besides, Facebook and Google have their tentacles in everything anyway. They spy on everyone and sell your data and no one does nothing of any real consequence to them. If someone is concerned about privacy, then they should pick another app. Government stay out!

I don't pretty care cause I don't like these apps.I think this prohibit may be a economic sanctions
China banned so many foreign apps and websites so it may be fair,I even have to use VPN to browse wikipedia

They do of course, I doubt that its impossible to get Tor or I2p in china, but it may just not be common knowledge there.
Also i2p is shit at accessing clearnet, it wasnt made for clearnet access in the first place but to be its own paranoid network to avoid authorities attention, it was Tor which was made for avoiding government blocks by NSA.
